Who Am I? Why am I unhappy? Perhaps in the company of limitless nature I will understand how little I am. How futile are the insecurities and fears that I have. I will find peace here.... In nature.....

I sat alone
My head sunk
I was sad, depressed
Tired of the world
I looked up
Perhaps prompted by the lapping sound
Of the serene water at my feet
My gloom lifted
As I gazed at the unending azure
The little ripples on the water smiled at me
I too smiled back
And relaxed in the arms of Mother Nature

Peace Of Mind Images: Forest

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there's some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
